We make our knowledge and experience available to you.
Expertise
We support our clients at every stage of their dealings with States, international organisations, public authorities, and the wider institutional public sector.
We have extensive experience in challenging administrative acts through all available administrative remedies—including applications for reconsideration, administrative appeals, extraordinary review proceedings, and ex officio review procedures—as well as in representing our clients before the administrative courts. We also act in the protection of fundamental rights, bringing specialised proceedings, constitutional appeals before the Constitutional Court, and, where appropriate, applications before the European Court of Human Rights.
Our practice has a strong European dimension. We assist in challenging acts of the institutions and agencies of the European Union and in bringing actions for annulment, failure to act, and non-contractual liability before the Court of Justice of the European Union. We also advise on the submission of complaints to the European Commission and petitions to the European Parliament.
In the field of civil service law, we advise on recruitment procedures, competitive examinations and selection processes, extensions of effects, administrative statuses, incompatibilities, and disciplinary matters. We also represent our clients in challenging tax-related decisions before the economic-administrative tribunals (TEAC, TEAR and TEAM), as well as in claims for State liability arising from the normal or abnormal functioning of public authorities.
In public procurement, we act in all types of challenges—both general and specialised—against decisions taken throughout the tendering process, including exclusions, tender specifications, contract awards, withdrawals, and declarations of unsuccessful procedures. We also advise on participation in procurement procedures organised by European Union institutions, NATO, and other international organisations.
Our regulatory practice is primarily focused on the energy and infrastructure sectors, where we have developed extensive experience across all related proceedings.
Finally, in competition law, we assist our clients in investigations and proceedings concerning collusive practices, abuse of dominant position, and State aid, as well as in foreign investment screening and actions for damages arising from infringements of competition law.
